Kronecker Product of Bipartite Graphs is disconnected. This means that the Kronecker product of N-star graphs, which typically arise in the economic networks literature as the equilbrium network in situations where there are strategic substitutes, is disconnected. Is this relevant? I think so, but haven't quite figured out why yet...

I want to make some type of statement like: strategic susbsititutes makes the network structure not scalable (in some yet to be defined sense), while strategic complements allows the network structure to be scalable.
