That's an impressive undertaking! Today there was a debate on Radio 4 which Skidelsky took part in, defending Keynesian slump policies against some Hayekians. Actually they weren't Hayekians - one was a political philosopher and one was George Selgin, the free banking scholar, so it wasn't that great and they both didn't really understood Hayek. Nevertheless, its worth a listen for Skidelsky - it'll be on iplayer tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteYou also may want to read John Maynard Keynes by the late Hyman Minsky (recently reissued in 2008: http://www.amazon.com/John-Maynard-Keynes-Hyman-Minsky/dp/0071593012/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1313552677&sr=1-1#_). Essentially, this is an intellectual biography that provides Minsky's interpretation of Keynes.
